What is the Silicon Valley Investment Bowl?
The Silicon Valley Investment Bowl is an annual student-run investment competition that aims to empower high school students to explore the world of investing and develop financial literacy skills. A cross between an investment competition and a financial education experience, our event provides participants with the resources they need to form an investment strategy and pick stocks based on real-world case studies, which they will then pitch to a panel of judges. Our goal is to reach 150 attendees at this event on September 28th, 2024, which is our second annual competition.

What happens to your money?
Any money you contribute towards the Silicon Valley Investment Bowl will be used to run our event, going towards our venue, prizes, food, and more. The fiscal sponsor of our event is Dollars and Cents, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, so all contributions made are tax deductible (EIN 37-2073549).
